What hotels say about Indicate
As a member of the FAMILOTEL executive board, I value having clear figures, data and facts in a single tool. It not only saves me a huge amount of time, but also lets me make well-founded decisions faster. Its ease of use is a big advantage, especially for hotel managers and other executives. Indicate has become indispensable to me, and I'd recommend it to anyone who values efficiency and clarity in their data.
In my role advising Familotel AG's member hotels on business and marketing, Indicate is a huge advantage. It has made analysing all the relevant KPIs many times simpler and more consistent. I love it, and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to see their most important data not just every day, but up to date and with a single click.
Common questions

Question not answered here? Write to us.
That depends on each system's API. Indicate specialises in loading data as fast as the partner's API allows. With Re:Guest, for example, even the historical data arrives in under 3 minutes. With marketing APIs such as Google or Meta, it can take up to 72 hours, because these systems use rate limits to control how much data we can fetch per hour. After that, all data updates automatically once a day.
That depends entirely on the API and the partner, meaning how much data they make available. Some systems provide up to 15 years of history, many provide 13 months. We see both. If a vendor offers no historical data, we start collecting from the day you connect and build up your history day by day from then on. If you'd like to know exactly for your system, just ask us.
Most systems connect simply by signing in with your login for that system. Some hotel-specific systems use tokens or other routes, for example through distribution partners. That depends on each vendor's partner structure. We make every connection as simple as the partner's API allows. If you don't have the login details yourself, just send a link. The person who has them signs in through it and connects the system for you.
Indicate is GDPR-compliant and hosts your data in Germany. That's one of the main reasons to use Indicate: you can work with AI in a privacy-compliant way and stay in control of which data is used at all times. Resi never sees your guests' personal data.
As soon as you use technology, you're a data business, whether you like it or not. Your PMS, booking engine, CRM and marketing tools generate data every day, scattered across separate systems. To own your data, you need one place where everything comes together and an infrastructure to support it. That's exactly what Indicate is.
No. Connect, pick a template or describe the dashboard, and you are done. Anyone who wants to go deeper gets KPI Studio and MCP.
Technically it works, but in day-to-day hotel operations it quickly hits its limits. In hospitality especially, many interfaces are simply out of reach: marketing systems can usually be connected, but PMS and CRM need official interfaces and partnerships with the vendors.
And even if it works, someone at the hotel has to look after it for good: keeping up with every API change, fixing errors and keeping an eye on costs. If that person is off sick or leaves, often nobody knows how the whole thing works.
On top of that, APIs return raw data without history, the AI quickly miscalculates, and token usage and costs rise with every question. An API key usually sees everything, including your guests' personal data. Indicate takes care of connections, maintenance, history and permissions for you, and Resi works with verified KPIs. You'll find all the reasons in detail on the MCP page.
